Entertainment is spread throughout all aspects of television from comedic commercials, to comedy shows, to anything else out there, it’s all apart of making the audience attracted to what they’re watching by entertaining them with anything under the sun.

We are informed through television of the latest news around the world. News anchors, reporters help us reach the outside world through TC, telling of the major events occurring in other countries and even our own.

Television acts as an eye into the world around us. Without television, radio and Internet would be very popular, and yet we wouldn’t quite get a clear picture of what’s going on in the world. Most people wouldn’t want to travel around just to know the scoop on things. Television gives us an opportunity to open up to the rest of the world without going through any hassle.

Televised games promote player profiles- enabling fans to follow their favourite athlete career developments. Fans take pride in knowing all about their favourite players. The fans are the ones who makes these athletes popular- and only by TV can the world really watch them.

Television influences society; through the news programs and documentaries; it keeps us educated. For government election, the government uses TV as a source of people’s interest by persuasive commercials, etc.

TV informs us of issues affecting our daily lives such as government, weather, war, and prices. By checking into the TV to see what’s going on in our country we can “plan ahead,” whether it be a raise of prices or conflict in the town, or if there’s a big storm heading our way- we can know of it beforehand for our own sake.

Television influences Americans’ lives each and every day, in both negative and positive ways. Our job is to maintain moderation in our lives and keep ourselves from getting carried away with things but also appreciate the information that is provided for us from the television.
